Happy Birthday Cancer! Many happy returns of the day. There is lots of freshness around this month, as the Sun’s annual return to your sign until the 22nd of July sees the start of both your solar and lunar returns for the year. These periods are effectively like New Year for Cancerians, a time for looking back over plans and projects you initiated over the past year and assessing how well they worked. You will also be feeling keen to start again with lots of new ideas and ambitions, and the 3rd of July, the time of the new Moon, is an especially good time to start a new project. Venus also lingers in your sign until the 12th of the month, so thinking about your appearance will be tops, as will establishing some harmony around yourself, particularly in friendships and domestic life. Mercury also zips through between the 11th and 26th, so during these days your mental powers will be sharp and you will be keen to express yourself.
There are three distinct phases to watch for here as these three planets take turns connecting to some of the Zodiac big boys, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. The 1st to 9th are days when you really don’t want to be making waves at home, you just want a bit of peace and quiet, but unfortunately a partner may have other ideas. Your loved one is getting a bit bossy here, and this could cause some friction. You may also have a sudden urge to book a holiday during this time with family or friends, but beware of loans or investments relating to foreign business or property, all may not be what it seems.
The 10th to 18th see the Sun getting in on the action, and establishing your needs in relation to personal finances comes into the fore. Again locking horns with a partner here is highly likely, but between the 19th and 25th you will get an opportunity to do some serious communicating about what you want. The full Moon of the 18th could illuminate the way forward with a difficult partner here. You will be extremely original in your ideas at this time too, particularly in relation to philosophical or moral issues, in fact you may be so original that you leave everyone else too far behind to understand you!
There is plenty of communicating to be done all round in fact, as Mars joins Saturn in this part of your chart from the 1st of the month. You will be feeling more confident in your contact with people around you at this time, but between the 4th and 18th especially, there will also be feelings of being restricted from what you want to achieve, and you may be prevented from saying what you want to say, which could cause irritability. These feelings will also apply to matters with siblings or neighbours, you want to help things along but could feel a little helpless. The 23rd to 31st however is a positive week when working with partners towards a common goal will be very beneficial. This doesn’t just apply to loved ones, if you have a business partner or are thinking about joining forces with someone this is a very favourable time to make a move. Look out also for money issues cropping up this month, as Venus, the Sun and Mercury all make this area of your life their next stop between the 13th and 27th. Mercury lingering in your house of private things until the 10th also has you feeling a touch wary of gossip for this first part of July. Have a great month!
