Hey Gemini! Watch out for Mercury your ruling planet, lingering in your sign until the 10th of July, the strong urges you felt last month to communicate your thoughts and plans to all and sundry will remain until this time, as will your desire for a good old chat and some mental stimulation! Rest assured, once Mercury moves on those racing thoughts will calm down a little, and the restlessness you are feeling at this time will also ease. Just watch out for a little tension first, as Mercury squares up to Uranus, another nerve-jangling planet, between the 3rd and 8th. A desire for new information and experiences in your career will leave you feeling stifled and irritable if you have to attend to any routine chores for these days.

There is lots of planetary action surrounding money matters in July, Venus remains in this area of your chart until the 12th, so spending on leisure pursuits and relaxation will be hot on your list. With the Sun also around until the 22nd you have lots of energy and enthusiasm for tackling any financial problems. Happy Birthday Cancer! Many happy returns of the day. There is lots of freshness around this month, as the Sun’s annual return to your sign until the 22nd of July sees the start of both your solar and lunar returns for the year. These periods are effectively like New Year for Cancerians, a time for looking back over plans and projects you initiated over the past year and assessing how well they worked. You will also be feeling keen to start again with lots of new ideas and ambitions, and the 3rd of July, the time of the new Moon, is an especially good time to start a new project. Venus also lingers in your sign until the 12th of the month, so thinking about your appearance will be tops, as will establishing some harmony around yourself, particularly in friendships and domestic life. Mercury also zips through between the 11th and 26th, so during these days your mental powers will be sharp and you will be keen to express yourself.

There are three distinct phases to watch for here as these three planets take turns connecting to some of the Zodiac big boys, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. The 1st to 9th are days when you really don’t want to be making waves at home, you just want a bit of peace and quiet, but unfortunately a partner may have other ideas. Hey there luscious lions! July is a period of reflection for Leos, as the Sun occupies his final house before moving into your sign on the 23rd of this month. These first few weeks see a period of quietude for you, which isn’t really the norm for a flamboyant Leo, but which will prepare you for both your solar and lunar returns at the end of July. With Mars vacating your sign on the 1st you will also feel a slight dip in energy levels, but the new Moon of the 3rd is a good time to start a private project which involves some form of meditation or relaxation. Venus also lingers in this part of your chart till the 12th, so feelings of love will have a very private, personal feel to them, it isn’t really a time when you will feel like shouting your love from the rooftops! Mercury also speeds through this area between the 11 and 27th. He is in a hurry here to make up for all the time he spent moving backwards in June, so this will be a brief but intense period of guarding your thoughts very closely and being wary of gossip.

There are several influences to be aware of throughout the month.
