LIBRA- July 2008
Hey Libra! Career and public image are in focus in July, as a horde of heavenly bodies descend on this part of your solar chart. With your ruling planet Venus hanging around until the 12th, you are very conscious of putting the right image across for yourself, and the Sun also here till the 22nd brings a strong urge to attend to your ambitions and aims and give them a real shake up. Mercury also passes through fleetingly between the 11th and 26th, so these are good days for speeches, meetings and discussions, you are expressing your needs eloquently and with conviction. Watch out also for the new Moon of the 3rd, a wonderful time to begin a new career project or go for a promotion.
There are three main areas of life which will intertwine with career issues this month. The 1st to 9th sees career desires clashing with a domestic matter requiring your attention. There could be a domineering family member involved here, or something important which needs to be discussed. If you can master this there are some brilliant ideas flowing with work, you are original and very creative, but at the same time feeling a touch restless with your everyday routines and wanting to inject a little variety. You also need to guard against a tendency to overspend on a work trip or social occasion. If you are looking for love, meeting someone in a career setting is very favourable at this time.
Between the 10th and 18th social events and groups around your work come into focus, you may be doing more than your share of entertaining clients or have a work gathering. Again, domestic tension will ensue around your plans as that sticky issue at home continues to lurk, but the 19th to 25th are days for getting some communication going and letting everyone have their say. You are an excellent diplomat as we know, and you really do like to maintain harmony around you, as we also know, so you won’t find this too hard. The full Moon of the 18th shining in your communication sector will also assist you in seeing the way forward. Travel or a course relating to your career is also possible during this week.
With Mars in your private sector from the 1st though there will be a behind the scenes feel to work matters this month, you may have to work for little recognition or feel overlooked. Energy levels will also be at their lowest all year, as this is Mars’s final stop before his return to your sign on the 20th of August, so take some time out for relaxation. He joins Saturn here between the 4th and 18th, and you could feel rather ineffectual for these two weeks, as though you are unable to get started. A better week is favoured between the 23rd and 31st, when dealing with a domestic issue which everyone is sweeping under the carpet fills you with dread, but a supportive partner helps things go better than you thought.
Elsewhere in July Venus sidles into your friendships zone on the 13th, and has you all loved up with close pals, and the Sun follows her on the 23rd , with Mercury bringing up the rear on the 27th. Anything connected to expressing needs and feelings in a friendship or social setting is well favoured for this last half of the month. Mercury also lingers in your travel zone until the 10th, so you will have very itchy feet for these first few days of July, and may book an impulsive trip. Enjoy yourself!
