Hello Scorpio! July is the month for getting your suit case packed and jetting off to faraway shores, as the travel sector in your solar chart gets really busy. Anything which involves broadening your horizons is key for you at this time, so this could just as easily be a higher education course or a good book, as long as it satisfies your strong desire to learn more about the world. Venus here till the 12th will also increase your desire to see beautiful people and places, and the Sun around till the 22nd will help you to assess what you need to achieve here. Mercury also pays this area a brief visit between the 11th and 26th, so any communication that needs to be arranged in relation to a trip or course, such as letters, e-mails or phone calls, will be well favoured. The new Moon of the 3rd is also an auspicious time for travelling somewhere new. It’s all go!
There are several episodes of planetary shenanigans to watch out for though throughout the month. The 1st to 9th sees a dispute with a partner over a planned trip, you are feeling a little bossy with your finances and may be unhappy about their urge to splash out. At the same time, you are very aware of the need to have some fun with your family and find something entertaining for them, it’s getting a balance between sensible spending and having a good time which will be hard here. The 10th to 18th brings the desire for new experiences to your career, and you will be keen to enhance your work skills at this time to ensure you are not passed over for any new opportunities. Then between the 19th and 25th you will see more cash problems, you may borrow money to fund a holiday or use cash you had saved, and again, balancing the books will prove tricky. You will feel like just getting away and dealing with the fallout when you return, but it’s all about communication here, if you can tackle the issues now you will feel much happier further down the line.
Friendships are causing continued concerns throughout July, with Saturn well settled here and really making you do some soul-searching about what you expect from friends and are prepared to give in return. This is a challenging time for you, but when he vacates this area in late October 2009, you will have ditched the deadwood in your friendships and the people left will be true pals, who you know you can rely on. Mars joins Saturn here this month, so you will be a little more assertive in saying how you feel, although between the 4th and 18th you may be prevented from expressing your point of view, which leads to a frustrating misunderstanding. You may also be concerned about a friend’s health this month. The 23rd to 31st are better days when communication flows much more freely and camaraderie is easier to achieve.
Elsewhere in July, career comes into focus as Venus arrives in this zone on the 13th, followed by the Sun from the 23rd. You will be aware of the image you are projecting for these last two weeks, and will want to make sure you hone in on any chances of promotion. Mercury lingering in your house of other people’s money such as loans and mortgages will also keep you busy with ideas until the 10th, and look out for the full Moon of the 18th, which brings a matter concerning a sibling or neighbour to light.
